Tengu no Koshikakesugi (Tengu Tree)

As the name suggests, “koshikake” means “to sit down”, so the large cedar tree is the perfect shape for the tengu (long-nosed goblin) to rest. The tengu of Mitakesan particularly like the naturally made seats of the tree. It is said that the tree can be seen from the Chuo Expressway.
